ATTENTION HUNTERS
Please be aware of the specific Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) regulations in the state you are hunting and any state you plan to travel into or through with your harvest.
Idaho Hunters
In compliance with Idaho Fish and Game regulations, we cannot provide services for any deer, elk , or moose harvested within CWD management zones. These zones include all of Game Units 14 and 18, and the portion of Unit 1 in Boundary County east of the Selkirk Mountain crest. It is unlawful to transport any carcass or part of a deer, elk or moose out of these zones; however, there are some exceptions. For more details, refer to the Idaho Fish and Game CWD rules or contact a regional office.
Transporting out of state harvest into or through Idaho
It is unlawful to import, transport or possess carcasses or any part of a deer, elk, moose or caribou from a CWD-positive state or territory; however, there are some exceptions. For full details, refer to the Idaho Fish and Game import rules or contact a regional office.
What to Expect:
Please bring only the head of your harvest in a trash bag. Include your proxy statement or tag for identification. Standard wait times are 2-4 weeks, but during the fall hunting season, delays may occur as we're also out in the field. Your patience is appreciated as we work to fill our tags and freezer too!
